With a conveyor belt system, we have made ourselves fit for the coming years. Our challenge is not only to supply our customers with more and more material. Rather, we have to fulfil our customers' wishes for individual material alloys in ever shorter times. Short delivery times in tight time corridors require low-waste processes along the entire production chain. For more efficiency in production, the processes were therefore synchronised by a new conveyor belt system.
While the production time was previously 28 minutes per pallet on average, this has been reduced to 12 minutes through the changed performance coordination. Through these timed individual activities, we have increased output by more than 57% with lower electricity costs.
