A major event took place at Müller & Sohn last week: the dismantling of the old crane on press 2. This complex operation required careful planning, heavy machinery and precise logistics to ensure that everything ran smoothly.
The dismantling of the old crane began early in the morning. Transporters were on standby to remove the dismantled parts. Our employees performed heavy manual labour to detach the individual components of the crane and prepare them for removal. Each step had to be precisely coordinated to ensure that no unforeseen problems occurred and that the safety of all involved was guaranteed. A large crane was used to safely lift and remove the massive parts of the old appliance.
Once the old crane had been completely dismantled and transported away, the next phase of the project began a few days later: the delivery and assembly of the new crane. The new crane was delivered on an articulated lorry and also unloaded using a crane. Careful logistics in advance ensured that all parts arrived at the assembly site on time and in the correct order.
The assembly of the new crane was a complex process. Our technicians and external assembly staff worked hand in hand to precisely assemble and install the individual parts. The utmost precision was required to ensure that the new crane would function optimally and fulfil the requirements of our production. Every connection, every screw and every cable was carefully checked to ensure that the new crane would function perfectly.
After several hours of hard work and intense effort, the new crane was finally fully assembled and ready for use. The successful installation was completed with a test run, which showed that the new crane met all expectations and was ready to support production on press 2.
This project was an excellent example of the effective co-operation of our team and the careful planning required to successfully complete such complex tasks. The new crane will now help to expand our production capacities and increase the efficiency of our processes.
